Thanks to miComet, the latest event entitled HoloGTA greeted Hololive fans with a week of side-splitting chaos and enthralling storylines. It ran from the 17th to the 23rd of September 2024 and dedicated this online multiplayer world of Grand Theft Auto V to an Role-playing experience where character interactions were more valuable than actual gameplay.
A Week in the Life of HoLos Santos
Night after night, between 7 PM and 1 AM JST, the HoloGTA server was full. The crime sprees had given way to even more imaginative scenarios and collaborations.
Who's Who in HoLos Santos
Just like in any classic RPG, participants of HoloGTA might be cast into other roles:
Law and Order: Miko was head of police, Subaru always serious yet comical chief, Botan her second in command.
Yakuza Shenanigans: Suisei took the lead of the gang while Towa and Aki supported her; the joyful mess was included.
Healthy to stay: Fubuki in the white coat made sure that after any inevitable mishaps, everyone was stitched up.
Smoothening the rides: Okayu was obviously the choice for the task as a mechanic.
Plate it up: Add a dash of hospitality and great food with Mio's family own in-house bakery.
Memorable Mayhem
Going from Subaru, the leadership icon, to Iroha and her exploding helicopter, to galore of car crashes, it was quite a turbulent week emotionally, filled with seesaws that gave the audience their money's worth of laughter.
It became even further interesting as certain events showcased how light-hearted such an event as Korone and Mio getting married would be. In other storylines, emerging, there was engaging role-play of Subaru going through the rigors of police training while Laplus pursues the heart of Towa.
Fans Go Wild as Original Event
The HoloGTA event really went great, and for the fans, the event was popular due to its difference in approach. Fans declared it one of the best Hololive events ever, saying that the focus could be more creative and interactive between characters. In general, the viewers enjoyed the dedication of the Hololive members and are awaiting such events in the future.
